CCREAD Cameroon designs and implements integrated development programs that improve lives, strengthen resilience, and create sustainable opportunities for vulnerable populations. Our interventions are community-driven, evidence-based, and aligned with national development priorities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We work across multiple thematic areas because we recognize that poverty, inequality, environmental degradation, poor health, limited education, unemployment, and humanitarian crises are interconnected challenges that require holistic solutions.
Through collaboration with governments, donors, development agencies, academic institutions, private sector partners, and local communities, we implement programs that deliver measurable and lasting impact.
Human Rights and Good Governance
We promote democratic participation, transparency, accountability, peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and the protection of fundamental human rights. Our initiatives strengthen civic engagement, empower citizens to participate in decision-making processes, and support institutions that promote justice and social cohesion.
Our interventions include civic education, community dialogue, leadership development, advocacy, policy engagement, conflict resolution, and human rights awareness.
Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response
CCREAD provides timely humanitarian support to populations affected by conflict, displacement, natural disasters, and other emergencies. We work to restore dignity, reduce suffering, and strengthen the resilience of vulnerable households through emergency relief and long-term recovery programs.
Our humanitarian interventions include food assistance, shelter support, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), psychosocial support, education in emergencies, child protection, livelihood recovery, and community resilience.
Community Education and Health
Education and health are essential foundations for sustainable development. We work to improve access to quality education and healthcare services, particularly for underserved and vulnerable populations.
Our programs promote school enrollment and retention, teacher capacity building, maternal and child health, disease prevention, nutrition, sanitation, menstrual hygiene management, mental health awareness, health education, and community health systems strengthening.

We equip children, young people, educators, and communities with the knowledge, values, and skills required to build a more peaceful, equitable, and sustainable future.
Our initiatives promote environmental stewardship, responsible citizenship, sustainable lifestyles, climate education, peace education, life skills, and community leadership.
Research, Innovation, and Capacity Building
We believe effective development is driven by evidence and continuous learning. CCREAD conducts research, assessments, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational capacity-building to inform policies, improve program quality, and strengthen local institutions.
We also provide technical assistance, training, mentorship, and institutional development support for community-based organizations, civil society organizations, and local governments.

CCREAD works closely with government ministries, United Nations agencies, international NGOs, local organizations, academic institutions, research centers, philanthropic foundations, and private sector partners to expand the reach and effectiveness of our programs.
