Over the years, CCREAD has become a trusted development partner known for delivering high-impact programs that improve livelihoods, protect natural resources, strengthen governance, promote human rights, empower women and youth, improve access to quality education and healthcare, and respond to humanitarian emergencies.
Our multidisciplinary team combines technical expertise with deep community engagement, enabling us to implement integrated solutions that address both immediate needs and the underlying causes of poverty, vulnerability, and inequality. Through strategic partnerships and evidence-based approaches, we continue to contribute to national and global development goals while improving the lives of thousands of people across Cameroon.

Our Governance
CCREAD Cameroon is governed by a transparent and accountable leadership structure that promotes effective decision-making, strategic oversight, and responsible management. Our governance framework ensures that the organization remains mission-driven, accountable to its stakeholders, and committed to delivering sustainable impact.
Executive Board
The Executive Board serves as the highest governing body of CCREAD Cameroon and provides strategic leadership, policy direction, and institutional oversight. Composed of 10 accomplished professionals from diverse fields, the board brings a wealth of expertise and experience that strengthens the organization’s vision and long-term sustainability.
Meeting at least twice each year, the board is responsible for setting strategic priorities, approving organizational policies, ensuring sound governance, and monitoring overall organizational performance. It also provides guidance to management, promotes accountability, and ensures that CCREAD operates in accordance with its mission, values, and legal obligations.
Through its leadership, the Executive Board helps position CCREAD as a credible and impactful organization committed to sustainable community development.

General Assembly
The General Assembly is the broadest decision-making body of CCREAD Cameroon and consists of all registered members of the organization. It convenes once each year to review organizational progress, discuss strategic priorities, and contribute to shaping the future direction of the organization.
Our members represent diverse professional backgrounds and come from Cameroon, across Africa, Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world, bringing valuable perspectives, expertise, and networks that strengthen our work.
The General Assembly plays an important role in promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusive participation by providing recommendations, approving key organizational decisions, and supporting the organization’s long-term vision.

Coordination Unit
The Coordination Unit is the operational arm of CCREAD Cameroon, responsible for the day-to-day planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the organization’s programs and projects.
Led by the executive director, the coordination unit ensures that strategic plans are translated into impactful community interventions while maintaining high standards of professionalism, efficiency, and accountability.

Working closely with communities, development partners, government institutions, and other stakeholders, the Coordination Unit coordinates the successful implementation of projects across our thematic areas. It also oversees program quality, financial accountability, monitoring and evaluation, partnership development, and organizational learning to ensure every initiative delivers measurable and sustainable impact.
